Thoughts & Conversations in a Changing World

Wagging the Dog…

Now look… I’m seeing this spate of foolishness in the media this week & not entirely convinced America hasn’t taken leave of its collective senses. I get it. We are all scared about this virus. I agree with many of you that our medical community is working hard & struggling with finding a cure. But please keep in mind, there are many people out here who have bad motives. They’re looking to make a buck or just get on TV- whatever it is, it’s just noise. There are certain drug therapies that have been shelved due to ineffective/harmful results (like hydroxycloroquinine) and researchers are looking for better alternatives.Yes- we should listen to holistic, herbal, and traditional doctors who’ve spent their lives helping people heal. My doctor suggests no tap water- only purified, tested without chemicals. Yes, I use 2 crazy-powerful filters & test my water regularly. He also suggests heavy duty multi-vitamins with ample magnesium & selenium. I listen because 1) he’s a medical doctor, 2) he’s focused on holistic health alongside traditional therapies for 30+ years, and 3) he’s had hundreds of COVID-19 patients since March and has “in the field” experience with the disease. I don’t blindly trust my doctor. I listen to his bonafides and I use critical thinking skills to make a decision. Bottom line- we can’t fall for the okie-doke when the charlatans try to sell us poison… Here’s some ideas:*Pay attention to what Cuba is doing- some of the best research scientists in the world.*Read from sources outside of the tainted US media with no skin in the game. *Listen to folks based on their resume, not their rhetoric.#criticalthinkingskillswin#wearadamnmask
