Excessive “Karen-ing”

PSA: for my non-melaninated FB friends- I see you’re out here trying to appropriate the term “Karen” in these streets. I’ve even seen it on TV. I get it- you want our rhythm, but not our blues… because “it’s fun/sassy!” Got it, box checked.Be informed that calling someone a “Karen” also implies she’s a racist. Calling your fellow sports mom a “Karen” cuz she’s getting on your nerves also means you think she’s being annoying with racist intent. Hence why you should cease & desist- especially when y’all rarely think your friends are undercover brown-people-haters. Brown people secretly smile and laugh at you later when we see this, so please stahp embarrassing yourselves. Likewise, if a melaninated person calls you a “Karen” – they are telling you that your out-of pocket behavior is bias driven. We will not stop using the term, cuz we don’t hafta. When Karen-like behavior stops, Brown folks will stop calling you your truthful designation. Stop asking. That is all. Please manage your words accordingly.🤣
